The eighteenth century house, built in 1730 for Philip Harland, and well-known for its sumptuous interiors and beautiful terraced gardens is open to the public for a limited period every year and well worth a visit.

Lovely little cafe with home made cakes and light meals, the cafe is licensed and has a small gift shop. We love to stop for an ice cream after a walk or visit to the village play park. The cafe is seasonal and is open through Summer Wednesdays to Sundays.
