the log boom pier probably the one of best places for lake shore fishing in Seattle, the north tip of lake Washington is shallow, lots of area are less than 10 feet deep, which provides abundant food for the fish, of course, bold eagles found that long time ago, on top of that, north tip of lake is the only lake shore not occupied by the multi-million dollar housees.

Once a seminary, the day-use park offers historic architecture & lakeshore space for nature study， newly opened logde provides the nice afternoon tea and meals.

Beautiful little tucked away spot. Large playground for kids. Basketball court. Seasonal bathrooms. Space to walk through trees and, of course, rhododendrons. Just an overall soothing and tranquil feeling.
Parking lot is fairly small so you may have issue on a weekend，Not weekdays though. Only about 15 min walk from our house. My daughter's rowing team usually practice ithe adjacent sammamish rive.

Running from Ballard to the top of Lake Washington, the Burke-Gilman is a fantastic multi-use trail. It's paved throughout although some of the older sections have ridges where tree roots have pushed up the asphalt.
Spanning nearly 19 miles between Seattle and Bothell, the Burke-Gilman Trail is as much a thoroughfare for commuting to work and the University of Washington as it is a staple for social recreation and fitness. Built in the 1970s, the trail was among the first rail-trails in the country and helped inspire dozens of similar projects around the nation.

Super nice beer and food in a very new and modern surrounding, love their outdoor dinning area. The best part is you don't need reserve someone to drive your group home, it is only 20 min walk through newly finished west sammamish river bridge and the beautiful golf course.

Ditching the large chained grocery store, head to this year round farmer's market, cheaper price, way better quality and freshness. Fresh and as local as possible fruits and veggies! Some other foods too, including dairy by smith bros. Also there’s a small freezer near dairy that has really great pizza dough, you won't regret a bit to stop by.

Fresh and as local as possible fruits and veggies! Some other foods too, including dairy by smith bros. Also there’s a small freezer near dairy that has really great pizza dough, you won't regret a bit to stop by.

This is a beer-lover's favorite, with frequent rotations, seasonal styles, and really great people behind the bar. Very dog and kid friendly. They've given up their parking lot to continue having socially distanced outdoor seating and there are tents up in case the weather gets bad.
