Saint Edward State Park has always been a favorite for our family starting with the awesome playground that looks like a medieval castle with labyrinth and towers to the Groto and the several trails from easy to moderate and difficult. Limited bike access and pets on a leash. We mostly like to stroll down the easiest trail (stroller friendly) and get to the shores of Lake Washington .

Great short trails with lake access. The lodge has restaurants, bar, spa and an art gallery.

Several hiking trails, from easy to difficult. Either way, enjoy a picnic by Lake Washington. Swim or just enjoy the beautiful view of Seattle.

You have it all here. Huge kids playground, hike trails for all levels and beach where you can see the other shore of Lake Washington. Our favorite! Just remember that Discovery pass is required for parking, or $10 parking fee.
