Everyone goes to Starved Rock but only a few go to Matthiessen. This is by far my favorite park around the Starved Rock area. You have to explore the upper and lower parts of the canyons. You will find hidden pockets of beauty!
This is two miles south of Grand Bear.

This is a small town and have different customs than metropolis. Please be courteous to other travelers and especially to locals. This experience would not be possible without the support of the local businesses and citizens. Do not speed or draw attention, because North Utica police will stop you.
