Visit Burnsall where you can park by the river to relax and play in the water. there is an abundance of cray fish, my son brought 70 home can cooked them in garlic. a beautiful walk along the river to Grassington and back or catch a bus back, buses don't run every day. 1 hour 42. Unless peak traffic
Recommend an early start.

coxley Valley is our nearest woods for a quick walk. we walk and cycle here all the time. great when you want to get out but haven't much time. 3 mins away. park on coxley lane, small car park at the bottom. See walk marked in blue on my photo. Turn right at the small duck pond for a Fairly short walk, or continue and cross the stream to walk back across the field for a longer walk.

Coxley Viewcoxley Valley is our nearest woods for a quick walk. we walk and cycle here all the time. great when you want to get out but haven't much time. 3 mins away. park on coxley lane, small car park at the bottom. See walk marked in blue on my photo. Turn right at the small duck pond for a Fairly short walk, or continue and cross the stream to walk back across the field for a longer walk.
