Hire bikes here and cycle round. Very beautiful. There is a popular jumping rock into the river at the far end if you fancy a dip. 1 hour drive. Lovely walking as well. You can drive to the far end in the week but on weekends it’s car park only to keep it clear for family cycling. Visit castlton. 13 mins to Castleton from here. lovely village with spectacular views from the castle.
