We have done our best to bringing out the distinctive character of this historic property, while furnishing it in a luxurious rustic style. The history of the cottage is still up to debate. However, we have found evidence of it playing a role as the village bakery.

High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. The gardens retain many original features including formal terraces, octagonal pool, glasshouse, pergola and 100 ft long double herbaceous borders. There are spectacular views to the Brecon Beacons

It 's a 2 minute walk to Montpellier Gardens, home of some of the Festivals that Cheltenham is renowned for. Situated just off the Cotswold Way national trail, it's the perfect pit-stop for keen walkers (or runners!). If sight seeing is more your thing, the popular 18th Century Rococo Garden is just a 5 minute walk away. Ideally located for travel to Stroud, Cheltenham, Cirencester and Gloucester all within a 20 min drive.

The Annex offers dog friendly accommodation with plenty of outdoor space. It has a bedroom with en-suite shower, a large kitchen and open plan living room with double bed, dining and sofa areas. There is parking, a courtyard and garden. We are between Cheltenham, Gloucester and Tewkesbury. Mon-Fri your host grooms dogs in a room connected to the Annex. Dogs or driers might be heard during the day on weekdays and access needed to cleaning cupboard and tumble dryer in annex.
