The Cottage is situated next to the Courthouse Café and adjacent to famous potter’s gallery & workshop. It is a stone’s throw from the beach and conveniently located to explore the picturesque top of the South Island. It is across the road from Farewell Spit Eco tours and a short drive to Wharariki beach, and Aorere Valley. A two night minimum is a must!

A non profit social enterprise and a Gold Kea Sponsor, guest stays have enabled over $20,000 worth of donations to the Kea Conservation Trust. It also supports monitoring of kea nest sites in the Cobb Valley and maintains a 17 trap trapline.
