Come experience the wonderful world of the honeybee where we encourage you to take pictures. We begin our 1 1/2 hour experience near Tampa, Florida. I have several different locations to choose from ranging from Farm to urban areas. The address showing will not be the place that you will have your experience. After you book I will send out the location. It will be either Lutz, Odessa, or S. Saint Petersburg. If you book first, I can be flexible as to location. We will begin with a demonstration of the equipment used in beekeeping as well as dressing up in our full bee suits and then immediately start the hands-on experience. At this point you will be able to see, feel, hear and touch apis mellifera (the European honey bee!) as I guide you to a better understanding of these amazing creatures. During our time together you will manipulate equipment, ask questions and get a practical appreciation of the bees. After, you will enjoy a refreshment while we discuss your recent experiences. Upon completion, we provide a 5 oz honey jar and honey dipper to say thank you for being a beekeper for a day! Things to note: PLEASE BRING BOOTS or Tennis shoes. There is always a chance of getting stung, So if you are allergic to bees please choose a different experience. We want you to come away feeling alive and in tune with the natural world. You will be wearing a full bee suit.

We'll meet everyone at the launch, do intros, give waterproof bags,& get prepped for kayaking. No experience needed; we'll give everyone a paddling overview! Average water depth 2ft) After that we'll get launched into Shell Key Preserve, a beautiful shallow environment with tons of wildlife & a very interesting ecosystem which we'll discuss+the history of the Preserve! Including traveling through some mangrove tunnels (tides permitting, mainly Mar-Oct) We'll also look for+talk about some of our incredible wildlife in the Preserve including dolphins, manatees, & other fish/birds! Take a clear kayaking adventure through Shell Key Preserve, a tropical paradise with unique marine habitats. Your knowledgeable ecotour guide will welcome you and provide brief paddling and safety instructions. Then, you’ll be loaded into your tandem clear kayak and off on a 2-hour adventure! Your tour guide leads the way around the mangrove islands, through the shallows, and to the beach. If the tide is high, your guide will show you a hidden mangrove tunnel. You’ll also take a break at Shell Key Beach, where you can collect shells, take in the views, and be surrounded by nature. Your guide will be happy to take plenty of photos, provide awesome unique facts, and make sure you have fun along the way! While in the preserve, be on the lookout for a Manatee or the beautiful pink Roseate Spoonbills in the summer months. White Pelicans call the sandbars of Shell Key Preserve their home during the winter months! Dolphins frolic in crystal-clear waters throughout the year, and cormorants love to swim alongside your kayak. Don’t forget to look through your clear kayak for a unique view of the ecosystems that are underwater! Chances are that you’ll see a variety of wildlife, but sightings are random and not guaranteed.

A smiling face will greet you as soon as you arrive at our launch site. We will provide you with ice cold drinking water, a waterproof bag to protect your cellphone, keys, wallet, etc. We'll walk down to the kayak launch area and go over all safety precautions including proper use of your life jacket & provide a detailed paddle lesson. Once we are ready to paddle, we will embark on a two hour kayak adventure exploring beautiful Sarasota Bay and the world famous Lido Key mangrove tunnels. I'll tell you all about the interesting history of our beautiful bay as well as talk to you about the incredible flora and fauna we encounter! If we are lucky, we may even be visited be amazing dolphins and gentle manatees. Then, we will journey through Lido Key's spectacular mangrove tunnels while we learn of their importance to our coastal ecosystem. Once our tour is over, we will send you on your way with memories that will last a lifetime. Important note: I will message you immediately after you book to get your preference on single kayaks or tandems. If I get no response, we will default to all tandems if your group is even numbered, or all tandems and a single if its odd numbered. We are the Original Glass Bottom Kayak, LED illuminated fish feeding night tour! In fact no one else offers this experience with our custom light system and how we've trained fish to follow us! As your host, I'll guide you through the Silver River via glass bottom kayaks! I'll make sure you experience all the hot spots that you're otherwise likely to miss on your own, while offering a unique underwater view of sunken shipwrecks, deep blue springs, caves, artifacts and more! We'll share our waterways with an abundance of wildlife such as manatees, alligators, turtles, otters, monkeys and several species of fish and birds! This is an experience you'll never forget; equal parts serene and adventurous and appropriate for all ages and experience levels! My glass bottom kayaks are the only of it's kind on the Silver River! They come with a sit-in-top design, which means they are well suited to all-weather paddling. The cockpit is dropped lower into the boat, which means stability is greatly increased, paddler comfort is enhanced, and wave impact is reduced. It's nearly impossible to tip or flip! My kayaks come standard with a transparent hull for underwater viewing all the way to the bottom, even in the deepest springs in the river. Let's go on a clear kayak ecotour adventure on the Weeki Wachee River- one of the most scenic waterways in Florida! We start in the quiet estuary of the Mud and Weeki Wachee Rivers, or where they meet the Gulf of Mexico.The first half of the paddle will take us through a salt marsh before we start kayaking up the Weeki Wachee River (a workout, but don't worry we take breaks) and the second half will be an easier trip back to our launch at Mary's Fish Camp. Be ready for lots of great local nature and wildlife such as manatees, dolphins, birds, turtles and fish while kayaking past iconic places on the river such as Rogers Park, a public swim area, and Hospital Hole- the river has so many places! Expect an adventure that is part wild and part urban as the river is a popular one to enjoy living and recreating on. We spend the first 20 minutes taking care of the basics, signing waivers, kayaking lesson and information about the tour ahead. We spend 2 hours on the water depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way! This is a no exit tour to preserve the Weeki Wachee for generations to come. We spend the duration of our tour in our kayaks. Please note that weekends and holidays can be a popular time for recreation on the river! All of our kayaks are tandem kayaks unless otherwise arranged. No guest can be over 250lbs or a combined weight of 425.

Be ready for a paddling excursion that will showcase Winter Park’s natural beauty from the water. We’ll guide the way through narrow Venetian style canals laced with history and lined with some of Florida’s finest flora and fauna. Plenty of birds, fish, and other wildlife will no doubt make an appearance, along with the extravagant houses that are nestled among the lakes. Other things to note - Each of our kayaks are tandem (2 seaters) -The weight capacity must be no more than 250 pounds per paddler and no more than 425 pounds when combined for both paddlers.

Message before booking We will fulfill your experience on the beautiful coastline of Cocoa Beach Florida, where we will meet you with a great attitude and positive energy. We will provide you with a surfboard, full instruction, photos, videos and a great time out in the water. We will start on the sand, where we will greet each other and get to know your learning style and comfortability in the water. We will then proceed to getting you accommodated with the proper surfboard and wetsuit if you would like to wear one. We will then give you a full demo on the sand showing you how to properly catch a wave. After the demo is complete, we will then progress into the water when you have confirmed that you are comfortable. We will remain in the water for the rest of the lesson, as we will stay shallow and progress at your own comfortability. Water instruction will consist of us gently pushing you into waves as I will monitor your progress and cater to any questions that you may have. We will grab our camera and capture great quality water photos of you catching the waves. Safety is the number one emphasis of our experience, as we will go over water safety and make sure that everyone is fully alert, comfortable, and ready to have a fun time.
