Es liegt unweit des Flusses am Fuß eines sonnenverwöhnten Südhangs an der Mosel, der bekannten Weinregion mit einzigartigem Rieslinganbau und mediterraner Kultur. Das Denkmal-Ensemble mit Haupthaus, dem Ferienhaus und Steilgarten wurde in knapp 10-jähriger Bauzeit und vornehmlich in Eigenleistung aufwendig nach ökologischen und traditionellen Kriterien restauriert.
