Heavenly Nest Getaway

Beautiful, cozy space with abundant natural light! We designed this getaway with relaxation and comfort in mind! An upstairs apartment in downtown Decorah. The large living room has the comfort of an electric fireplace, TV, Wi-Fi and lots of natural light. A dining room that will seat 6, a galley kitchen and the comfort of the den with a sofa sleeper that makes into a queen bed and a glider rocker. The bedroom has a TV, queen size bed and much comfort. Bathroom is a full bath. Pack and play.

Footbridge Farm Cabin

Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

The Carriage House at Walnut Hill Farm

New 400 sq ft addition upgrades this Guest Favorite to a 5 bedroom property, each with a dedicated bath. Meticulously managed by Superhost Nancy. The new space offers a King Suite with an ensuite plus a pull-out King Size bed, fitted with a Tempur-Pedic Mattress. Open-concept living area has vaulted ceilings, custom windows, chef’s kitchen, and indoor/outdoor dining spaces. This 2430 sq. ft property offers 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, two 1/2 baths, off-street parking, and a 8 person hot tub.

Walkable and Group Friendly in Decorah

Family-friendly historic home that is walkable to downtown. With 3 upstairs BRs and 3 full BAs (2 up, 1 main), The Winneshiek House sleeps 9 people in 2 king and 5 twin beds. Little ones are welcomed by a standard crib and kids will enjoy the upstairs lounge and secret reading nook. Enjoy the open living and dining areas, 3-season porch and patio with fire pit and patio heater (available seasonally). Detached garage available for a vehicle, bikes or kayaks. Grocery is 1/2 block away.

We are a bright red home located on a side street, just 4 blocks from downtown. We offer 3 bedrooms, large living and dining areas, a sweet patio spot and a fenced in yard. Start up the fire pit and share your stories around the flames. Walk downtown to your favorite coffee place and enjoy this charming town.

This comfy 4 BR, 3 Full bathroom house has great space for your stay in Decorah! With 2 Living Room areas and a full Kitchen you'll have plenty of space! Oneota Golf Course is right around the corner! The Famous Toppling Goliath Brewery is just 3 miles up the hill! The Trout Run Trail is within steps of the front door. Walk/Run/Bike into town or all around our pleasant little town. Everything in the downtown Decorah area is within a few minutes from this peaceful neighborhood!

We are located about two miles north of Seed Savers, three miles from Winneshiek Wildberry Winery, seven miles from Luther College, nine miles from downtown Decorah, and 13 miles from Toppling Goliath.

Welcome to The Store! This place originated as a grocery store in our little town of Ossian, IA. We have given this building a fresh new facelift and turned it into a vacation home. Don't be turned away from the outside as we continue to update but embrace the charm we have built on the inside. This space was well thought out with stunning features that we are excited to share with you!

Trout Run Retreat is an entire house that sleeps 10. Located across from the Decorah fish hatchery and bike trail, you will enjoy a beautiful scenic getaway while still being within approx. 2 miles from downtown Decorah. Enjoy exploring the waterfall and fish at the hatchery, fishing in the trout stream or taking a stroll along the bike trail. You might even spot a Decorah eagle!
