House opposite the Marina

Relax with the family at this peaceful place to stay. Opposite the house there is a lighthouse and marina and next to it there is a very nice walking park. The beach is within walking distance (1km). On the other side of the house there is a public tennis court. There are bars and restaurants nearby. 3 km away there is a shopping center and markets. 10 km away is the airport and inside the house, Netflix and internet can be used unlimitedly. Please note that this house is a basement.

There is a marina, as well as a public boat launch less than 5 minutes away and Lake Erie is only a 10-minute boat ride from the house. You can also access the Huron River using kayaks within 5 minutes from our dock. The backyard has a patio and a built-in fire pit with a hot tub to enjoy both summer and winter nights with gorgeous sunsets over the water as your backdrop.

Whether you are coming to fish, relax, meet up with family or old friends, our quaint 2 bedroom riverfront cottage is a great place to unpack and call home. With a beautiful view of Gros Isle just across the river, surrounded by a canal, it's a perfect spot to enjoy an outdoor bonfire with a spectacular sunset. The master bedroom features a King size bedroom with a grand sitting area and fireplace. This cottage sleeps up to six people.

Cool vibe, relaxing in great neighborhood. Walking distance to bars and restaurants in the Park and only 10-15 minutes to Midtown and Downtown Detroit. Minutes to Belle Isle, Eastern Market, and waterfront. I am in the restaurant biz, so I can steer you in any direction to all Detroit has to offer. I know Detroit like the back of my hand and can point out all the cool spots to hit.
