Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make your trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, its Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". Our beautiful studio with spacious Hot Tub is close to Edinburgh Airport and only 5 miles from the West End. Perfect for enjoying all that Edinburgh offers, but with the peace and quiet of a rural location. Own transport is recommended but public transport is nearby so leaving the car and hopping a bus/tram into town is easy. Guests staying without own transport are likely best to rely on local taxi services of which there are several including UBER. Plenty countryside walking available also.

Set within the grounds of Fernie Castle a beautiful authentic Treehouse with 6 living Trees growing and thriving. Equally beautiful in all seasons especially winter being so very cozy, it is fully heated with lots of hot water for the freestanding bath for two. With all the amenities of a 5 star bedroom, a large freestanding bath on the second floor with a small balcony with views to the stunning countryside it does indeed feel like a fairytale just remember to bring your favourite bubbles...

We're minutes away from Edinburgh Airport, The Royal Highland Centre at Ingliston and the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena as well as the soon to be opened Surf Centre. Our local train station is ten minute drive away or a twenty minute walk from which you can get to Edinburgh city centre in less than twenty minutes. We can offer either a super king size double or two single beds as well as all the usual amenities for a comfortable stay.

Enjoy a relaxing get away in our spectacular snugs. These are the perfect way for a couple days with a partner or friend. Enjoy local walks or visit the historic town of Linlithgow. Located high up in the hillside enjoy stunning views over West Lothian. Tea and coffee facilities are provided along with a microwave. All our snugs have underfloor heating and generous en-suite bathroom with full size shower. Guests are more than welcome to bring food/takeaways into the snugs.

Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms. The antique four poster bed, deep roll top bath and open fire evoke earlier times, but are truly comfortable and luxurious. An elegant table is set for breakfast. Peebles is 10 minutes walk away, with a host of shops and restaurants, as well as a museum and award winning chocolatier.

The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.
