The Noddle is a lovely, eco-friendly home on the peaceful, stunning island of Hoy, overlooking Scapa Flow. The house is full of natural light and heated by a Wood Burner + Air Source Heating. The garden leads to it's own Beach, perfect for paddle-boarding, beach- combing and swimming. The land includes a woodland area, wild flowers and river frontage all within 6 acres. Wild life includes: Orca's, Otters, Hen Harriers, Sea Eagles, Seals + many sea birds. On clear nights stars adorn the heavens.

Mill Cottage: Captivating Riverside 1 Bed Cottage

This beautiful cottage is situated in an idyllic location; listen to the gurgling river as you sit on the decking or drift off to sleep. One minute's walk away over a Victorian swing bridge is an enchanting pebble beach. Here you may see seals, dolphins, salmon, and plenty of seabirds depending on the season. Ideally placed for the North Coast 500, this modernised cottage is warm and cosy with central heating and hot water provided by a biomass boiler, and a wood burning stove for cooler nights.

Torran Cottage - Views, Exclusivity & Tranquility

Torran Cottage is nestled within a UNESCO World Heritage Site - The Flow Country! Whilst superbly modernised throughout, the cottage retains its original features, including wonderful flagstone flooring, deep-silled windows set into thick stone walls, and a large wood burner for cosy evenings. The views from the hot tub and gardens are unbelievable. Panoramic vistas look east to Morven and the Scarabens, south to Ben Klibreck and west to distant views of Ben Loyal and Ben Hope.

On the shore at Shormary Cottage

Shormary Cottage enjoys a wonderful coastal location, enjoying spectacular views towards Dunnet Head, the Pentland Firth and Orkney Isles . Direct access to the shore is offered where you can explore rock pools, build sand castles or gather shells on the beach below. Why not pick up the binoculars to watch the wildlife? Is that a seal, a dolphin or even a whale? As for the birds (too numerous to list here!) the favourites are herons, buzzards and puffins. HI-00301-F

No.1 Shiro, Juniper bank

My chalets are on land surrounded by trees, wild flowers, and wildlife. A 5min walk into the town centre and under 15min walk to the beach. The train station is also only 5mins away. If you are driving then this is the perfect spot for Dunnet head, the most northerly point of the UK, puffin cove, a beautiful isolated spot to sit by the sea and watch the birds, the historic town of wick, and of course Jon o groats. Thurso is on the NC500.

Firthview Holiday Cottage, Canisbay, John o'Groats

Firthview is located in a peaceful area from which to base yourself for an active holiday or relaxing retreat. Located just off the NC500 route in was completely refurbished in 2021. It sleeps 4 people and is available to rent all year round. This coastal cottage is part of a traditional croft-based smallholding in Caithness with views of the Pentland Firth, Orkney Islands and surrounding countryside.

In the small hamlet of Brims two miles from the village of Longhope on the island of Hoy, with general store/post office and Health Centre. Easy access to coastal walks bird watching, fishing and ferry terminal. Near to the Longhope Lifeboat Museum and other island attractions.

Just a stones throw from the city centre of Wick, this Northerly cottage sits beautifully off the A99, making it the perfect destination for those taking on the stunning NC500 route. Drumdry has recently completed a HUGE renovation and this historic little cottage has bags to offer family and friends. Sitting adjoined to an old steading building, we love the history that this property holds.

Pentland View Caravans, John O Groats, Caithness

Pentland View Caravans is part of the John O Groats caravan and camping site. Situated in the heart of John O Groats on the North Coast 500 with breathtaking views across the Pentland Firth to the Orkney Islands making it a perfect base to explore Caithness and Sutherland. The Swift Burgundy static caravan is 28 ft x 10ft. There is 1 double bed and 4 2 foot 6 inch single beds.
