Our historic home was built in 1901 and has been completely remodeled with modern conveniences, fully stocked kitchen with fireplace and beautiful walk in shower. It boasts many of its original features including 12 ft. ceilings, and claw foot tub. Kick back and relax in the hot tub on the spacious, private deck. I designed this home to have 2 separate living spaces with private entrances on opposite sides of the house. The front is the vacation rental entrance accessing the entire first/lower level. My entrance is on the back side of the property. My family owns part of Lake Shore Island located on Guntersville Lake. There are 5 houses on our property scattered over 8 acres. My home and vacation rental is about 3 football fields from the shore, up the hill, providing beautiful views of the lake.

Our second home is a mix of mid-century modern and "cabin in the woods." It sits on 2 heavily wooded acres and backs up to a mountainside with rock outcroppings. The main living area (living room, dining area, and kitchen) is raised about 4 steps, and the bedroom and bath areas are on the main level. There is one large bathroom with a shower. There is an electric fireplace surrounded by ledge stone in front of the u-shaped built-in sofa. There is abundant reading material & 2 TV's.

The Bamboo House

Welcome to Bamboo House. It's a 3br/2ba ranch style house. We call it Bamboo House because of the large bamboo that lines the back of our property. We are conveniently located 5 miles from I-65. It has a kitchen with fridge, stove, dishwasher and Keurig coffee maker. The master has a Queen size bed with dressers and TV. The master bath has a small stand up shower with closet. The additional bedroom has 2 twin beds with a large closet. There is also a designated office with a large desk.

Centrally located to explore Middle Tennessee and Northern Alabama. One bedroom with 1 double bed. A 6 foot couch in bedroom can flatten and serve as a comfortable bed. There is also a queen size air mattress available.
