The Blue Cow Barn - Betsie Cottage

The Blue Cow Barn Accommodation is situated on a working farm, 1km from Barrydale town centre. Our farm has gone through many seasons - from a fruit farm to a dairy farm and now a guest farm. Our cottages are named after the cows that were part of the dairy and Betsie is our most flamboyant and eccentric cottage and cow. You'll love this cottage as it is situated in the original farm barn that dates back to the 1960's and the gorgeous mountain view. This cottage also has access to the hot tub.

Each Suite welcomes you to a luxurious and large bedroom with king-size bed, with french doors opening out on your a private patio overlooking the gardens. An en-suite beautiful serene bathroom with shower and massive bathtub. A kitchenette and living room with all the basic supplies for a weekend away. The suites have cotton bed linen, and towels, electric blankets, underfloor heating in bathroom, TV, Wi-Fi, kitchenette, cutlery and crockery, patio with seating and of course, a Weber braai.

The cottage consists of a living area with large double doors opening out onto the garden with an outside shower and pool. The kitchen boasts a Smeg stove and all the necessities to create beautiful meals. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed in a loft bedroom and an extra double bed is available downstairs. . The Art Barn

Reconnect with nature in the forest oasis and former art studio of South African artist and fashion designer, Harvey Rothchild. Situated on the Garden Route amid rolling farmlands and natural forest, the Art Barn is located a mere 15 minute drive from Knysna and 20 minutes from Buffels Bay. The Dairy

The Dairy is literally an old milking parlour which has been turned into spacious accommodation on this working dairy farm. The unit has a more modern feel to it than the Farmhouse. Lovely views of the dam & Outeniqua mountains and a big "farm pool" with deck. Wood-fired hot tub on a wooden deck on the patio.
