Bed and breakfast in village on edge of Exmoor

My house is set in a steep valley on the edge of Exmoor with views to the surrounding hills. The village has a very well stocked shop, playing field, village hall and local pub with good food. It is ideally situated for exploring Exmoor, Minehead and the coast which is only 4 miles away. Roadwater is situated on the Coleridge Way for a convenient overnight stop. There is a large garden which guests are welcome to enjoy. Another room with bunk beds is on separate listing. Breakfast is included.

You will breakfast in the original 1620 house but sleep in a stylish bedroom and have access to a private bathroom. Meadow Wood annex is on the outskirts of Combe Florey, a pretty conservation village at the foot of the Quantock Hills. It is a small self contained annex with parking and its own entrance, set in an idyllic position surrounded by fields and woodlands in glorious walking country. It comprises of a Kitchen/diner, bedroom (with room for a travel cot) and a bathroom. A thatched 15th century village pub, serving local ales and excellent food, is only 5 minutes walk alongside a babbling brook.

Coachmans is part of West House Cottage; at the back of the main house. The room is a bright airy room, accessed up a stairs with its own en-suite shower room. The house is on the edge of Chilton Polden with beautiful views of the Mendips and the Levels. There are two further Air BnBs - Footmans, opposite and The Old Dairy, beneath. Gym & outdoor spa (additional charges); beauty parlour, Alpaca Trekking animals - lots of places to visit. Not suitable for children.

Circa 1780, The Smithy is part of a Grade II listed, thatched property. Recently extended, it is now a cosy, light-filled, self-contained annex with private access, ideal from which to explore the beautiful North Devon countryside. Accessed via steps to a stable door is a relaxing living/dining space, a double bed on a mezzanine floor and a small shower room. Guests have access to a small patio with seating in the cottage's lovely gardens.
