Emma’s Cottage is close to great views, family-friendly activities, Nauvoo sites and the Historic Nauvoo Temple. It is good for couples, families, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The cottage was built around the 1940’s. If you enjoy privacy in an authentic environment, then you’ll love it.

Come enjoy a relaxing get away on beautiful Sugar Bottom Road. A great place for the outdoor enthusiast, no matter the season. Ideal also for quiet relaxation and privacy. We are a small acreage just 15 minutes from Iowa City, 7 minutes from Solon, and 30 minutes from the Cedar Rapids airport. Our converted barn is at the back of the property, behind the house. There is a separate road leading back to the barn for super convenient parking. It’s rustic, cozy, warm and inviting.

The Milk House at Lucky Star Farm

The Milk House is a unique space located in the countryside, between Iowa City and Kalona. This 700 square foot home has ample parking and room for four adults. The house is well appointed with a full kitchen, two luxurious queen beds, wifi and a Smart TV. Guests are invited to explore our 20-acre working farm with lots of livestock and two friendly dogs. This cabin is nestled by the bridge across from Pittsburgh, Iowa, just a few miles west of Keosauqua. Accommodations not only include the cabin, but also 1.5 acres of flat, riverfront land to play, relax and enjoy nature. A screened porch with seating overlooks the Des Moines river. Guests can also enjoy the outdoor fire ring. The amazing wildlife along the river is absolutely beautiful. If you enjoy the outdoors, hunting, fishing and nature, this is the cabin for you!

This cozy yet spacious home is centrally located in Washington just blocks from shopping, dining & coffee on the square or just over 1 mile to the Washington Wellness Park and trailhead of the Kewash Trail. Our home offers two bedrooms and one full bath with laundry. Bedroom 1 has a king bed and sitting area while bedroom 2 can be configured with 1 king or two twin beds allowing flexibility for your stay.

The Vernon Street Guest House - Suite 2

Built in 1900 and renovated in 2022, Suite 2 shows little signs of the once quirky old space. Completely private, with all the amenities, it boasts a spacious bedroom, 1 bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with a desk for workspace, and a laundry room. While you're here, we hope you are able to relax and enjoy the well lit deck along with a cup of freshly roasted coffee, which we are happy to have provided.
