Located in the heart of the Willamette Valley wine country the 1100 SqFt private unit provides a unique opportunity to experience the north west. We are at the center of a hub with equal access to Hillsboro, Sherwood, Newberg and Beaverton for all of the night life and restaurants while being within a few miles of 100+ wineries. We also offer a wood fired pizza making experience (see below for details). All of this while experiencing rural Oregon. We are on 6 acres with only a few neighbors.

At times, it can get a little slick.

Hood are all about an hour, and there are numerous hikes from the forest right down the street to Silver Falls and beyond. We are 7 minutes from the Nike Headquarters, 2 minutes from Columbia Sportswear Headquarters, and 15 minutes from Intel, making it a perfect stay for your business needs. We are within walking distance to a grocery store, pubs, small restaurants, and the Saturday Cedar Mill Farmers Market. Close by is the entrance to Forest Park, one of the largest urban parks, with 80 miles of trails.

Garden Home Backyard Yurt Experience

Our cozy-comfy 4 season yurt is nestled under majestic trees on a beautifully landscaped 1/3 acre. Located in a quiet, safe SW Portland neighborhood with a park, hike/bike trail a block away. We are 6 miles from downtown, with beaches, gorge and Mt. Hood accessible for day outings. There is a full kitchen, a natural gas fireplace and complete electrical and plumbing service. The guests full bathroom is located in the home's utility room a short lighted pathway walk from the yurt.

Mini Ceramics Guesthouse

Located in historic Forest Grove and walking distance to restaurants, coffeeshops and Pacific University, this guesthouse has the unique offering of a mini pottery wheel! 5 min from McMenamins, 35 min from Portland, and just over an hour to the beach. Try your hand at mini pottery, do some wine tasting, get local snacks at our summer farmer's market, hike in the forest, and go out on Hagg Lake. Our quiet retreat is close to just about everything!

Studio in Wine Country

Our farmhouse is in a quiet rural setting. Public transportation is not available. Uber and Lyft service the area. Wineries, the city of Forest Grove and Pacific University are with in a few minutes drive. It is 50 minutes to the beach and 30 minutes to Portland. The studio is located in the basement of our home and has a private entrance. The accommodations include a queen bed, a twin hide-a-bed, sitting area, studio kitchen and full bath.
