There’s a second level balcony, where you catch the morning sunrise and the front deck offers views from the ocean with amazing sunsets. Our cottage is a perfect spot for a relaxing vacation, minutes away from la plage St. Pierre, a short distance to Le Portage Golf course and the National Park. ** our cottage is approx. 50 feet from a gradual 8-10 feet drop to the rock beach below

MacLeod Cove is a 3-bedroom cottage on the Bras d'Or, Cape Breton's beautiful inland sea. Enjoy ocean views and private cove, within 25 minutes drive of Baddeck, North Sydney (Newfoundland ferry terminal), and the Cabot Trail. Smoking and fires of any kind are not permitted anywhere on the property. The cottage is very private, surrounded by forest and sea. It typically has good cell phone coverage and we have wifi. The Sleeping Moose Cottage is a private, cosy, 600 square feet, well laid out vacation rental for up to 5 people. It is very nicely renovated and completely equipped for you to enjoy a weekend gateway or a longer vacation. Beautiful, rustic cabin sits cozily surrounded by woodlands. This one room retreat boasts a south west vista of the Bras d'Or Lake, includes a veranda with gorgeous sunsets, king size bed and access to the beach. It is half way between Baddeck and Sydney and a perfect spot for anyone travelling the Cabot Trail. Firewood provided for fire pit if the burn ban is not in effect. Kayaks are available to use at your own risk, with life jackets, and if you are experienced in paddling.

Our cozy guest house is located along the Point Edward Highway, but don't let the name of our street discourage you from staying. It is a lovely, quiet, rural setting, along the shores of Sydney Harbour. Very centrally located between the city of Sydney and surrounding towns. The view is calming, and can be enjoyed on the covered front deck. Be sure to catch one of the stunning sunsets during your stay!
