Overlooking a fern grotto and redwood valley, The Perch, our newly renovated room lets you experience nature up close. Come unwind and luxuriate in nature. Limited cell service. The room INSIDE has a bed, toilet, sink, mini-fridge, microwave, and electric hot water kettle. OUTSIDE a claw foot tub/shower, private deck & outside kitchen with a gas burner stove. Very rural. Tucked amongst Redwoods and ivy on the hill, our forest getaway has a magical feel. Escape the hustle, relax in the hot tub and enjoy the upgraded home. Walk down to the river or the Rio Nido Roadhouse. Downtown Guerneville and Armstrong Woods State Park are a 5 min drive. Haven in the Woods is a short drive from wine tasting rooms and a MacKenzie Northwood Golf Club. Note: Must climb stairs to the house and we do not have a TV (though have strong internet). the Cabin is a perfect place to spend cheerful hours while listening to the crackling fire in the wood stove and the rain drumming a beat on the roof. delightful, comfortable and romantic; bright, airy but cozy, the cabin is the perfect place for two. the new fire pit and a Finnish sauna are only 2 spots out of many opportunities at the Cabin. the interior is updated and renovated and expresses a scandinavian sensibility culminating in an efficient and minimalistic design.
