My husband and I stayed at Catherine‘s beautiful apartment for a month in September. We loved everything about it! The location was great – quieter than most NYC neighborhoods, but with easy access to the north-south train lines that take you just about anywhere you want to go in New York City, as well as cross town buses within a block. Also, an easy walk took you to Central Park or Riverside Park, as well as stores and restaurants that had just about anything we could want. And perhaps best of all, we were surrounded by interesting people represented in beautiful artwork all around the house. We felt kind of sad leaving those “friends.” with whom we shared had the apartment. Kudos to the artist, who represented his subjects so well that we felt we knew them. I would highly recommend a stay at this roomie, well supplied, and beautiful upper west side apartment.

Catherine was a great host, the apartment was perfect for our needs, and so close to Riverside Park and subway which made it very enjoyable and easy to get around. Even the doormen in the building were very helpful. Used the laundry and gym in basement. It’s a great place in a great part of the City - terrific all around. Thank you!

Catherine's thoughtful attention to detail did not go unnoticed; From the decor, to the supplies and amenities to the high quality linens and helpful communications and even treats left for our pup all made for a wonderful experience.

Catherine is a most reliable & thoughtful host. Her unit is spacious, comfortable, clean & tastefully decorated; amenities required for a long stay are provided eg full working kitchen, flat screen TVs, high speed WiFi, comfortable bed, double glazed windows, bedroom blockout curtains & AC - all in good working condition. The location appealed to us as Red Line subway 96 stop is only a 5 minute walk; likewise bus routes are very close by. Central Park is a 15 minute walk (cross town bus for those who prefer public transport) while the beautiful Riverside Park is just across the road. Manhattan- north, south & east can be readily accessed, whilst west to the Hudson River is a pleasant walk or bike ride. Guests are spoilt for choice when it comes to cafes & restaurants in the UWS; there is also a plentiful choice of delicatessens & supermarkets.
As a senior couple we felt quite safe walking & commuting in this neighborhood; the apartment building itself is secure.
