We do not take pets at this time, severe allergies. Two restaurants are located within walking distance, Slims Cafe (closed Mon), and the Glacia Tavern (Closes Tues). Rustic historical hostel hotel on river. Room #12

We are surrounded by wildlife and water. The cell service and wifi are iffy. The rooms are sparsely furnished but have either a queen or full sized bed. The bathrooms are modern but shared. The large upper veranda surrounds the entire lodge. It has a great view of the river and is extremely relaxing to sit and enjoy the outdoors. There is an LP firepit for the chilly nights. We also have portable fire pits if you would rather have a fire down by the beach/river side. Unplug and relax!

This one-bedroom king suite with large living area with two sofas, a live-edge dining table and an electric fireplace. Formerly known as the Feigal’s jewelry workshop, this unit was converted into a spacious and economical unit. A wooded view with a king bed, microwave, mini fridge, Smart TV, telephone, and coffeemaker. Wifi provided. A short walk around our building and you can enjoy our large grassy grounds and ledge rock Lake Superior shoreline. Note there is no view of Lake Superior from this room, and this room is located next to the office.
