Mountain View A-Frame Lynchburg/Coleman Falls

Our A-Frame is solar powered and surrounded by beautiful outdoor space. Inside a queen size bed, a twin bed, a large sofa and a cot. Outdoor sleeping we have a double person hammock with mosquito netting. We have NO running water, but supply a free standing cooler and basin for washing as well as an outdoor camp shower. There is NO kitchen, but we supply a camp stove, and a gas grill and a fire pit. Square footage of the A-frame is 600 sq. feet . Located on Green Needles Christmas Tree Farm.

Full kitchen, tv with local channels as well as Roku, off street parking and climate controlled. Scott School was a Campbell County one-room school from 1905 to 1928. In 2010, Scott School was renovated and serves as a lovely tea room and quiet location for guests. The cottage is complete with two bedrooms (one twin, one full), central HVAC, full kitchen, and televisions. Points of interest nearby are: Red Hill-last home and burial place of Patrick Henry (5 miles), University of Lynchburg (30 miles), Liberty University (25 miles), Randolph College (30 miles), and Appomattox (22 miles).

The house is only 4 miles from Crabtree Falls and several minutes from the Appalachian Trail access. Wintergreen Resort is 12 miles away.

Little Gallery House Near Natural Bridge

The Little Gallery House, near Natural Bridge, is part of an old Civilian Conservation Corps Camp, then juvenile detention center, now a campground and artist community, called Thunder BRidge. There are 100 acres to explore, bordering the Jefferson National Forest, with hiking trails and just 2 miles from the James River. This would be an ideal place for family to meet if some of you want to camp and others would like a real house. There is a queen bed and a day bed.

Charming 2 bedroom 1 bath guest house sleeps four looking over the Cowpasture River on a 350 acre working farm. Guest may use of our concrete tennis court and explore miles of hiking trails that lead to the national forest. Farm is surrounded by over 2.5 miles of the Cowpasture River. There is a gravel beach right beside the bridge entering the farm where one can enjoy wading and swimming. River here is 3-4 feet deep depending on the season and stream flow.
