The barn was converted by ourselves over two levels - one ground floor and one underground (don't worry it is very light and airy on the lower floor!) Chater Barn lies in one of the most attractive and unspoilt areas of countryside in Eastern England. The landscape is made up of rolling hills, pastures, a small stream, woods and the ground flora, providing magnificent displays. Launde Lodge

Our rustic-luxe eco shepherd’s hut is surrounded by nature and serenaded by birdsong, where in-the-know modish types come to unwind. It may be a hut but step through the French doors and the sheer style will blow you away: a rolltop copper bath…it’s all very special. The ultimate thing to do here is throw open the double doors, pop a bottle of fizz and climb into the bath tub or fire up the hot tub for an alfresco soak and star gaze around the fire fit.

With a permenant double bed and the option of a second pull out double bed we cater for either a couple or group of four. Self catering facilities, a fully fitted shower room, a TV and WiFi combined with an extensive network of foot paths, bridle ways and national cycle routes makes our pods the perfect hub for your country escape.

Beautiful Conversion in Rutland Countryside

Come and stay in our lovingly converted barn in the middle of the Rutland countryside. Perfect for a quiet get-away with lots of walking and cycling from the doorstep. Set in a 3 acre plot of our family home, you will have access to a private garden at the rear of the property plus our orchard should you wish to bring 1 small - medium sized dog with you. Unfortunately, the property is not suited to large dogs.

The recently upgraded Shepherds Hut contains a king sized bed, Kitchenette, Dining Area and En-suite Shower Room. The Hot Tub is ready for you on arrival and the BBQ Hut is the best place to settle down for the night around the fire.
