It doesn’t look like much but this is a favourite amongst locals. It’s not directly on the river but you can easily walk to it. It’s a short 8 minute walk away from the guesthouse.

But don’t fear, they have merely relocated! You can find them at the Hilton Terrace Shops in a bigger and better shopfront still serving the traditional fish and chips that generations of locals have grown up on. Definitely one for visitors to tick off the list!
