The beach! Probably cold and foggy. Dress warm. Nice reprieve from the summer heat. Surf shop in Bodega Bay.

More wild a beach than Doran--see big waves and surfing. There is a bird preserve, no dogs. Don't turn your back on this ocean--keep an eye out! Fly kites! Views! Big sand dunes fun to run/slide down

You can go to either side of the creek, north or south. Sometimes a sandbar closes off the creek and you can walk across it. South has a nice, long beach walk. Beware of "sleeper waves" and do not wade into coves because you can get trapped.
