„MAGIC KRAKOW”
Krakow, the former seat of Polish kings. It is one of the most beautiful and interesting places in Poland. The vibrant market, streets full of old tenement houses, lots of cafes and street stalls invite you to take a walk around the city. Being in Krakow for just one day is worth seeing the main monuments of the city, which may encourage visitors to come for longer. The Royal Way "Via Regia" is the road that royal retinue, delegations and guests headed towards the Wawel Hill used to move. Today it is one of the best known, leading through the most beautiful streets and monuments, tourist routes of Krakow. The trip begins near the medieval city walls - Barbican and St. Florian's Gate. Then, along Florianska street, it leads to the heart of Krakow - the Main Market Square. Visiting the largest square of medieval Europe includes, above all, a visit to the St. Mary's Church, the main temple of the city, where the famous altar of Veit Stoss is located. A walk around the Market Square, a passage through the Cloth Hall, a former commercial building. Next to the church of Saint. Wojciech, the famous "Adaś" and the Town Hall tower. And also a moment of free time, which can be spent on eating breakfast, buying souvenirs or going for a quiet stroll along the charming side streets. From the Market Square, the route leads through the oldest streets of the city - Grodzka and Kanonicza towards the Wawel Hill, the seat of Polish kings. Ending with a tour of the Royal Cathedral and the arcaded courtyard of the Royal Castle and the moment of time, for an independent walk around Wawel’s Hill. Standard visit time: approx. 4 hours Standard cost of the visit: approx. PLN 20 Benedictine Abbey - Tyniec. Located today in the administrative borders of Krakow, the abbey in Tyniec is the oldest of today's monasteries in Poland. The first Benedictines arrived here around the mid-eleventh century. 1000 years before the arrival of monks, this area was inhabited by the Celtic population. Numerous traces of the Celts' stay can be seen in the Tyniecki lapidarium. There are also many interesting legends associated with this place. Another point of the plan is a short walk around the Vistula Boulevards. An ideal place to enjoy the views and a short rest for both Krakowians and incoming tourists. The walk will end at Flisacka street in the place of the Water Tram stop. Then, admiring the magical Krakow and the beautiful landscape qualities of the routes on which the water tram moves, we will go to the Benedictine abbey in Tyniec - the oldest of today's monasteries in Poland. On the spot we will visit the Monastery, taste the products created by the Benedictines and go for a short walk around the charming grounds of the Abbey. After the tour is over, we will go back to Galeria Kazimierz. Standard tour duration: approx. 5 hours The standard cost of sightseeing: approx. PLN 70 Kazimierz In 1335, Casimir the Great founded a new city near Cracow, which in the course of time was named after Kazimierz. Currently, Kazimierz is one of the best-preserved Jewish districts in Europe. A place with a unique atmosphere where two religions and two cultures meet - Christian and Jewish. The magic and charm of these places leave no one indifferent. The further plan of the trip includes a passage on Szeroka Street, where the most important synagogue - the Old Synagogue - was built in Kazimierz, which after the war was turned into a museum. The next point will be located nearby - the Remuh Synagogue, named after the most famous Krakow rabbi - Mojżesz Isserles, buried on the cemetery adjacent to the synagogue.
