Ensign Peak – This short uphill hike above the Utah State Capitol Building offers panoramic views of the Salt Lake Valley. There is a monument at the top because Brigham Young hiked to this peak soon after arriving in the valley.
Short hike with amazing views. Brigham Young hiked here shortly after arriving in 1847 to plan the city.
A short hike that pays off with an excellent view of the whole Salt Lake valley. Go during sunset or nighttime for extra wows.
