Percy Warner Park, one of the most beautiful parks in the country, offers a variety of trails for running and biking, as well as beautiful winding roads for cycling. Cars can drive through the park as well, and the foliage in the Autumn is spectacular. There are also equestrian trails, athletic fields, and golf courses. Percy Warner Park is characterized by a group of steps built into the mountain located at the entrance to the park, and this entrance is reminiscent of a European allee. Of all the trails the Mossy Ridge trail is a beautiful 4.5 mile ridge loop. It provides lots of elevation gain and loss. If you're looking for a longer run or hike, you can extend to 11 miles, by combining Mossy Ridge, the Cane Connector Trail, the Harpeth Woods Trail, and the Warner Woods Trail. The park is home to a steeplechase course that hosts the Iroquois Steeplechase, run annually each May since 1941 (with one year off for World War II), as well as the state cross-country championships. It is a beautiful run or walk, providing hikers and runners with an intimate sense of the beauty of Middle Tennessee.

This dual park (also an Edwin Warner Division) spans over 3000 acres and has numerous hiking trails both easy to moderately hard that are paved. It has a Nature Center and Equestrian Center and is home to Steeplechase every Spring. It is maintained by Nashville Parks and Recreation.
