Great views of Kailua side. This short, slightly strenuous at times (ropes for the tricky areas) sometimes narrow trail features 2 military bunkers & a panoramic view of Lanikai Beach. Highly recommended for an early morning sunrise view. Bring head lamps if you're going early or late. The hike can go on for about 3 hours but most people just go to the first two pillboxes which are about under an hour hike up. Parking is easiest at nearby beach.

Fun hike for the whole family. Starts at Sunset Elementary parking lot. Spectacular views!

The Pillbox hike has some of the best views in Hawaii. Some parts are easy and some parts can be challenging (after it rains).

A beautiful hike that's also great for the families. Not paved. Takes about 90 minutes round trip. Unbelievable views! Go during the week as parking is banned around Lanikai during weekends.

Pill Box Trail. Need some exercise?! This is a trail worth getting to the top! Breath taking views on the top!
