Only 10 mins from the Bungalow in the nearby village of South Pool this traditional 16th century inn has been recently refurbished and offers award winning food using the finest local ingredients including meat reared on the family’s own farm.

This pub has to come top on our list for one of our favourites ever! It is about 25 minutes drive from the cottage, so slightly further afield, but a lovely traditional pub with incredible food. If the tide is right, you can actually get a boat from Salcombe to the Milbrook and back again on an evening cruise up the estuary. www.millbrookinnsouthpool.co.uk
