Melbourne's first Italian cafe, this beloved and historic eatery is a true diner, Melbourne-style. The coffee, hot chocolate, granitas and apple strudel are all terrific but skip their cafeteria-style pasta mains. A great place to meet people before heading off for a night out.

A Melbourne institution. I've been dropping in to Pellegrini's for over 20 years. Simple, tasty pasta dishes, granita and great coffee, all served quickly to customers sitting at the bar.
