Allerton Park and Retreat Center is one of the best sights to see in Central Illinois. With a historic mansion, fantastic manicured gardens, and miles of hiking trails, it's a can't-miss in the Monticello area.

Stunning views, hikes, and commissioned statues grace this park just a short drive west. Spend a day walking the wooded and open grounds. Take a picnic, or stop by Monticello for a To-Go lunch from local downtown eateries.
