Another great destination for lovers of history. The Illinois State Museum has hundreds of great displays, rich with history.

This museum is a fun, interactive museum filled with lots of interesting avenues to explore. Not so big as to overwhelm, not so small it is insignificant. A definite favorite of visiting tourists.
