A quick 5-minute drive from the suite will bring you to a fantastic panoramic view of the downtown Nanaimo and the harbour. A nice place to watch ferries arrivals and departures.

Enjoy the view of Nanaimo's Departure Bay, Islands, Mount Bensen and downtown. Easy hike up, partial stairs.

Fantastic views of Nanaimo from up here. Sugarloaf Mountain Park is a natural viewpoint overlooking picturesque Departure Bay. A perfect spot to watch sunrises. Other than the trail and stairway up to the bluff top there are no official trails within the park.
