Great late-night Vienna-style cafe with range of wine, beer and cocktails, too. Popular for late-night studying or just a snack.

Cool place for breakfast in the gorgeous Gold Coast area of Chicago. Definitely a local spot with some good people watching. My favorite thing to order is the lox and capers plate with a bagel.
