The only true Sports Bar in Tamarindo, but oh so much more than that. Like Tamarindo itself, Sharky's has two different identities; Daytime Sharky's which goes from opening until around 9pm. Then there is Late Night Sharky's that hits its stride around 10pm and goes to closing, whenever that is, depending on the night and the special occasion. Daytime Sharky's is a fun place with good food and plenty of games where you can bring your family and have a meal. Night time Sharky's is a place to go and listen to a DJ, dance, hear a live band outback in it's private concert space or sing Karaoke and win free drinks. The street out front becomes its own party with working ladies, food sellers, caned beer out of a cooler in the back of a pick up and plenty of purveyors of mind altering substances. It can be quite a scene.
