lots of restaurants and several Breweries to investigate. Also there is a sight seeing train that goes over to Dillsboro for a day trip.

The Great Smoky Mountains Railroad is located in downtown Bryson City. It should definitely be on your MUST DO list. The train offers various lengths and themed events such as Polar Express. In the summer you may catch a glimpse of Bigfoot as you amble by. :) Fly fishing abounds here and the Tuckasegee River is popular for white-water rafting. Downtown has plenty of shops, souvenirs, eateries, and breweries. Nice place to walk around.
