Affordable and fun, and suitable for beginners, you can rent kayaks or paddle boards and cruise along the Brunswick river and through the mangroves. Tons of great shops and restaurants to check out afterwards if you want to make a day of it.

Commonly known at the pirate ship as that's what his HQ looks like, moored on the banks of Brunswick River, opposite the pub. You can hire kayaks and paddle boards and it's very reasonable. $30 per hour for a kayak when we rented in Feb 2020. Call ahead to book one if you're booking in high season. 0414 300 012.
