Post-lunch: Historic Highlights Walk from Ladidika through seafront Eleftherias Square – Thessaloniki’s prettier answer to Syntagma Square, up Eleftheriou Venizelou Street to the city’s most famous and holiest cathedral Saint Demetrius (Thessaloniki’s patron saint). The ancient Agora, has been a point of reference for the city of Thessaloniki during the Hellenistic and Roman times. Impressive construction, a small museum and right in the center of the city.
