This is the best of the fish and chip shops in Brightlingsea in my opinion. They have a lovely old fashioned eat in cafe as well as a takeaway and it's licensed too.

Definitely the best fish and chips we've had! We enjoy eating in their tiny restaurant but the fish and chips definitely still travel well from shop to the Belvedere dining table!
