The oldest museum in America and very easy to navigate. We love it because it isnt too big and overwhelming that you are exhausted by the end of it. Plenty big enough to give a great look back into Charleston history and what makes it so special.

Here you'll find several exhibits and collections to explore, including Lowcountry History, Historic Armory, Charleston in the Revolutionary War, "City Under Seige" (civil war), The Bunting Natural History Gallery, Kidstory, and the Historic Textiles Gallery.
