Oak Forrest park is 0.25 miles and very walkable. This is a great park for children with a new play structure and jogging track. You can see families gather hear in the afternoons during the week and anytime the weather is good on the weekends. Amenities include, play structure (which is handicap accessible), jogging track, picnic tables, 2x tennis / pickleball courts, 2x basketball half courts, and a public pool (which is open only in the summer, but not since Covid). On the weekend children are practicing soccer and baseball.
