the lodge is just across the cove from The Boathouse. You can kayak to the lodge, walk on the pier, observe the dam and see which way you want to go on the water to further explore the lake. You can also fish (with license) from the pier. This is the public put-in and launch- must have permit to put a water vehicle on the lake.
