Like Sugarloaf this is a great view of the landscape and Lake Superior. The hike is more difficult and longer with no stairs just hiking. Stay on the trail because it is easy to get turned around if you are not used to the area. I recommend a small daypack with minimal survival gear just in case. If you do get lost and are able to hike north/east you will reach the road which you can follow back to the trailhead. Don't ask how I know that. :)

Are you looking for a more challenging hike? The Hogback hike is not long, but it is fairly steep and requires more effort than Sugar Loaf. It’s a beautiful area, check the Marquette Trails App for directions.
