"They unpaved a parking lot, and put up a paradise." Formerly the employee parking lot of a PepsiCo bottling plant; Now a delightful Community Garden. If the gate is open, go in and have a look!

Open to the public during lunch and/or when a local gardener is tending to his/her plot. I enjoy grabbing something from home, bi-rite, or tartine and eating lunch under and around a beautiful garden

A hidden community garden one block off 18th--if you are lucky, someone will let you in and you can enter the magical oasis.

Amazing and hidden community garden. Try to walk by and if the door is open check out the different flowers and vegetables people grow
