One of the best (if not THE best) Italian restaurants in NYC by chef Mario Batali. Enjoy his staggeringly original yet startlingly airy Italian cooking (if you can get a table it is...).

Mario Battali's first nyc joint. Get the tagliatelle with ragout. Trust me. It's mind blowing. I find eating at the bar to be more relaxed and easier to get a seat.
