Wat Suan Kaew is a center for the promotion of Buddhist practices and knowledge. Also at the location is the SuanKaew Foundation, which hopes to improve the living standards of the poor and to help develop and improve society. An innovative monk named PhraPhisalDhammaPhati or PhraPhayomKanlayano has initiated several projects for the related SuanKaew Foundation. Successful projects include the Rom Pho Kaeo, providing shelter for the elderly, a supermarket for the poor, and the SuanKaew nursery projects. It is very convenient to go there and transportation cost by taxi/cab is only 100 Thai Baht.
