From here at the River Park you can walk or bike the Barbara Whipple and Midland Trails. Most of this trail system has easy to intermediate hikes.

Hikes & Mountain biking on the Barbara Whipple Trail has something for everyone. Walk along the west side of the river for an easy stroll or venture over to the east side of the river for more levels of biking/hiking. Feeling overzealous….hike up to the top of the Sleeping Indian for a beautiful view of the town and valley. Don’t forget your water and snacks!
